Chosen logline and genre
I have chosen to create a teaser trailer in the genre form of Action / Thriller.
I have chosen against Horror and Sci-fi as I believe the Science fiction genre would be difficult to recreate and personally Horror films are not my cup of tea so I would not enjoy making a Horror film trailer.

patterns and repetition

I have discovered how these four techniques could be used in both photography and film to direct the viewer to a certain spot in the frame.

With the leading lines technique, I could possibly apply this to my teaser trailer when I film a shot including stairs. This will focus the viewer's attention on the character on the stairs and dissuade them from looking elsewhere.
music choice
There are a few websites that have royalty free music that I have searched for which include bensound.com & freesound.org
There is also a website provided by the BBC which contains over 16,000 sound effects, which are BBC copyright, but may be used for personal, educational or research purposes. http://bbcsfx.acropolis.org.uk/?cat=libraries

Please see below a few tracks that I am considering using in my teaser trailer as non-diegetic music to enhance the atmosphere.
Featuring an epic symphonic orchestra with drums, strings, brass and woodwinds mixed with synthetic instruments, this modern cinematic track is suitable for trailers, video games, showreels, action, sport and epic videos, YouTube, etc.
Energetic & powerful electro-rock music. Great for action or for a sport video.
